Islamic Arts Society joined with the art of calligraphy at Asia Society Texas’ annual festival! IAS joined in celebrating the rich diversity of Houston’s Asian and Asian American communities through bringing live demonstrations and take-home bookmarks with the art of calligraphy. This event was free and open to the public where it was an adventurous festival through Asia, using a passport activity for visitors to explore different regions’ traditions, culture, and food.
